Relief Pitcher Song at Koshien?

Relief Pitcher Song at Koshien?
At Koshien, when a Hanshin pitcher is replaced, they play a very pleasant Japanese pop song with a female vocalist. It kinda sounds like Kiroro. Can anyone tell me who the singer is and the name of the song?

Do you mean Kyuji Fujikawa's song? In which case it is "Every little thing, every precious thing" by Lindberg.

I love the cultural difference in this. Whereas closers in MLB usually enter to loud, intimidating hard rock, it's hilarious to see Fujikawa enter to this bubble-gum pop. As long as he throws the way he does, however, he can enter to whatever he wants!

Thanks. I hadn't realized that the song was played only for Fujikawa. We certainly hear it a lot. Are there other songs played for other relief pitchers?

Kubota comes out to a reggae song some Japanese artist made for him. Hanshin has had tribute albums made for them before, so it's no surprise for players to have their own songs.

As for Fujikawa's entrance song, I laughed the first time I saw him come out to it, but absolutely love it now. It really fits his personality and lifts the fans' spirits. It's like a time to celebrate, because he never gives up games. It's game over when that song plays. Here is a video of him meeting the lead singer of Lindberg [YouTube].
