Japan Almanac in USA?
Do you know if sometime in the near future there will be a Japan baseball almanac book released? Thank you.

I'm not sure I know what you're looking for.

almanac: an annual publication including weather forecasts and other miscellaneous information arranged according to the calendar of a given year -- WordNet

There are the yearly Record Books by Baseball Magazine Sha put out in December of each year which contain a review of stats for the given year, as well as career data for each player registered for that year. They're only available in Japanese, of course.

Then there are the annual Player Guides put out by a number of publishers with a photo and short bio of each player. I enter most of that information into my database and make it available in my Player Meikan on-line here. There are also some "Scouting Report" books as well. All of these (except what I enter into my database) are only available in Japanese.

In English, a couple of the newspapers have put out pre-season guides, but I don't subscribe to the English press (don't like their coverage), and I've heard that they didn't do much this year.

Can you give an example of the kind of thing you're looking for? And please describe it, don't just give me the book's/periodical's title as I most likely don't have access to it. (A URL, on the other hand, would work.)
