Naomichi Donoue?

Discussion in the Ask the Commish forum
Naomichi Donoue?
I remember Naomichi Donoue being a very sought after draft pick last year and was wondering how he is progressing? I was sort of surprised that he did not get an at-bat this year with the Dragons.

He's only a first-year and a position player at that, it's not surprising that they're giving him time on the farm team.

His brother Takehiro hit .404/.435/.553 in 47 games on the farm team, so he was brought up. Naomichi hit a less impressive .217/.254/.332 on the farm, so I think they are giving him more time to develop. Honestly, Takehiro had a similar line last year (.250/.295/.338), so it's not an unreasonable way of thinking.
