Free Agency for Japanese Players
How many years does it take for a Japanese player to become a free agent and play in MLB? Did Hideo Nomo became a free agent or he was sold to the Los Angeles Dodgers Organization?

Nomo retied from Japanese baseball. Nomo then signed with the Dodgers in 1995.
