2008 Schedule?

Discussion in the Ask the Commish forum
2008 Schedule?
My son, J. J. Furmaniak, will be signing a contract to play with the Yokohama BayStars for 2008. When does the schedule come out? Any words of wisdom can be e-mailed qbss13 atMark aol d0t com.

Thanks.

If last year is any indicator, the Central League schedule comes out sometime in December, and the Pacific League schedule comes out sometime in January. I only remember this because I planned out a 13-park tour for the 2007 season. (I successfully completed it in about 3.5 months.)

Does anyone know whether the schedule has been released yet?

Yes, I know.

The Central League and inter-league schedules were released last week (although 15 Central League games still needed to be scheduled). Game times for those dates have not yet been decided on.

Looking at the official NPB schedules page (in Japanese), it doesn't appear that the Pacific League schedules have been announced yet.

Once the Pacific League schedules are announced, and I've had the opportunity to enter them, I'll start the process of updating the site to start showing 2008 information.

Please be patient a little bit longer.

Pacific League schedule just came out, looks like they're starting play on March 20th.

Start times will be announced next month; another long wait if you are like I was last year and planning a trip to see games.

Sorry. I should have noticed this sooner. We've had what is available with the 2008 schedules up at JapanBall for a couple weeks now.

Take care.
