2008 Broadcasts?

Discussion in the Ask the Commish forum
2008 Broadcasts?
I know it is very early to talk about this, but is there any team planning on broadcasting their games over the Internet for the 2008 season (maybe viewable outside of Japan)?

Thanks.

Right now I haven't heard of any such broadcasts yet. Maybe someone here can help tell us if any of the teams plan on broadcasting for all to see.

Though if I had to guess, I say SoftBank and Rakuten will be the likely teams to broadcast over the web for all to see.

The BayStars also broadcast there home games in 2007, but I don't know if they are planning on doing so again in 2008.

2 years ago it was possible to watch the Tigers (it was something like 30$ for the season), last year they did not offer that, maybe their broadcast will be back in '08.

I'm just curious, does anybody know why Yahoo! Japan does not let people with IP addresses outside of Japan view their videos? It's not like they're charging the Japanese viewers money for watching free broadcasts. So why restrict everybody else? It doesn't make sense to me. I want to watch my Fighters play!
