What Happened to Chiasson?

What Happened to Chiasson?
Scott Chiasson has signed with the Astros for 2008. From searching and using my rusty Nihongo skills, I've been able to discern that he was basically injured after two weeks of spring training with Yokohama, returned to the States in about May to have a doctor look at it, and was released by the BayStars August 27, having not pitched at all. Is this accurate, do you know anything else?

Scott recently pitched for Mayos de Navojoa in the Mexican Pacific League in Winter Ball. He appeared in 24 games, with a 2-2 record and 12 saves while posting a 3.08 ERA.

Thanks Brimsek,

I did see that he was in Mexico this winter. I was just wondering what became of him in Japan.

Sorry farmstros. Thought you were wondering if he played anywhere else this year.
