Well, from looking at his blog, he seems to be doing random stuff in Arizona for the last few weeks.

He had arthroscopic surgery on his rotator cuff before spring camp, so I think he most likely will be out for a good long time. If he's lucky, we'll see him by the end of the season, but I'm leaning towards Saitoh missing all of the 2008 season.
