MLB allstars that have played NPB
Apart from Julio Franco, George Altman, do you know of any other MLB all-stars that have played in the NPB?

Off hand, Kevin Mitchell and Mike Greenwell come to mind. Didn't Bert Campaneris play for someone in the early 1980's?

This would probably end up being a big list.

Cecil Fielder is the biggest one to come to mind. He was really the first to do it in reverse though [i.e. make it big in Japan first]. Alfonso Soriano is another. Bob Horner maybe?

Matty Alou
Jesse Barfield
Scott Cooper
Alvin Davis
Glenn Davis
Doug DeCinces

and scores of more players.

The shortly-lived Kevin Mitchell and Mike Greenwell, Glenn Davis, Alvin Davis, Phil Bradley, Tony Fernandez, Bobby Thigpen, Goose Gossage, Doug DeCinces, Don Buford, HOF'er Larry Doby, Lloyd Moseby, Jesse Barfield, Don Zimmer, and Mariano Duncan were some of the MLB All-Stars who played in Japan.

Mike Andrews, Don Blasingame, Phil Bradley, Willie Davis, Mike Easler, Jim Gentile, Frank Howard, Brook Jacoby, Davey Johnson, Ruppert Jones, Norm Larker, Vance Law, Jim Lefebvre, Johnny Logan, 4-time batting crown winner Bill Madlock, Mike Marshall (OF), Carlos May, Felix Millan, 1949 ROY, 1956 NL MVP, and 1956 Cy Young winner Don Newcombe, Dave Nilsson, Ben Oglivie, Larry Parrish, Joe Pepitone, Johnny Ray, Richie Scheinblum, Reggie Smith, Dick Stuart, Lee Thomas, 1965 AL MVP Zolio Versalles, Lee Walls, and Roy White.
