Triple Crown Threats?

Triple Crown Threats?
Interesting to see that each league has a Triple Crown threat this year - Rami in the CL and G.G. Sato in the PL. Although I don't think either of them will do it, I was just wondering if there has ever been a year in NPB where someone won the Triple Crown in both leagues in the same year. Any trivia buffs out there got the answer?

I think Randy Bass with Hanshin and Hiromitsu Ochiai with Lotte did it back-to-back in 1985 and 1986.

I forgot about Ochiai's amazing run, so I guess it was possible. Any predictions on whether Rami and/or G.G. can do it this year?
