Video Highlights?

Video Highlights?
Hi, my name is Julio Sanchez Alvarado. I am a sports journalist. My speciality is the game of baseball and I work in T.V. Sport in Latin America with the Major Leagues Baseball and the Caribean Leagues around Venezuela, Dominican Republic, Mexico, Puerto Rico, and Cuba. I always read about the Nippon Professional Baseball on www.japanesebaseball.com and other sites like www.npb.or.jp, www.japantimes.com, www.japanball.com, etc. because I like your culture and your baseball.

However, I never can see a game of Nippon Professional Baseball.

I want to say to you that you do a good job on the English pages. Congratulations to everybody for your work on this.

The T.V. sports network where I work wants to know everything about the Nippon Professional Baseball. For this reason I need to know where there is an Internet page that I can see the highlight videos about every game of the day of NPB. And more, where can I read a preview of every game of the day of Nippon Professional Baseball?

I hope to get your answer soon.

For your attention and your time, Thank you!

To view games in full, you can follow the instructions here to get all of the Pacific League games.

For highlights, I keep hoping that some YouTube expert will appear and start posting links to highlights on a daily basis. So far, no such person has surfaced.

(I've noticed some strange things happening with YouTube lately - like not being able to access content on the U.S. site from Japan. Has anyone else had such problems? It most often just says "Contents no longer available" with the URL changed to Japan.)

Game previews? Wow, that would be great to find in any language. Unfortunately, the press tends to focus more on what happened than what may happen. (I'm guilty of a similar practice in my own writing.) Japanese newspapers will often talk about an upcoming series on a slow news day (Tuesdays - after there were no games on Monday), but little else. What there is usually focuses on an individual against the team he's about to face. And that is only in Japanese.

This guy posts some short highlights of games, but not all.

There used to be a really good user called rmpp4 who posted lengthy highlights of 90% of games, as well as full Hanshin games, but he was deleted within the last 10 days.

You can watch all the Hanshin games from this person [YouTube]. I just finished watching the Yokohama Hanshin game from Yokohama Stadium. It is in Japanese.

(I am trying to write in Japanese here but it becomes mojibake.) What I wanted to say is 横浜対阪神 080706-1 is July 06, 2008 against Yokohama; where "-1" is part 1. After you finish part 1, watch part 2, then 3, etc. then you are able to watch entire Hanshin games. I usually copy and paste the title above the TV screen and then just change the past bit. -1,-2,-3 etc.

I was wondering if anyone knew how it would be possible to record the Yahoo! games in the PL as I would like to watch them at a more appropriate time.

Ah, he recreated his account. That makes me very happy as he is my source for highlights.
