Updated Whiting Book?
According to an article on Yahoo! Sports today, an updated version of Robert Whitings's "You Gotta Have Wa" has just been published. Does anyone have the new version? If so, what exactly has been updated? I looked at the table of contents and it looked the same as the copy I have.

Anyway, it's a classic, but just want to see what has been added before I buy a new copy. So, if anyone out there (or Whiting-san!) has info, please share it.

Sorry to be so late in replying to this one.

I've gone through it and the introduction and afterward are new. Everything in between looks pretty much the same. There may be some slight, imperceptible updates and/or corrections for this printing, but it's the same basic book for the most of it.

I picked it up anyway and you're right, it's just the new intro and afterward. However, I like anything Whiting writes, so was interesting to see him revisit the book. The afterward focuses a lot on American managers such as Bobby V. and Hillman. He might need another updated afterward considering Bobby's current problems with Lotte.
