Fantasy Baseball in Asia?

Discussion in the Ask the Commish forum
Fantasy Baseball in Asia?
Is Fantasy Baseball played in the NPB, KBO or CPBL? It's pretty big here in the U.S., but it doesn't seem to have a following in Latin America. I'm just curious how it's received or not in Asia.

Fantasy Sports in Japan have a good following, although it could be larger. Fantasy Sports Japan (FSJ) has been around for over a decade, and has a strong base of dedicated Japanese fans in both major U.S. sports and NPB. (Disclaimer: This site is owned by FSJ.)

I've read about Fantasy Sports being popular in Korea, too. But most of the information is only available in Korean (like FSJ is all in Japanese only at the moment).

Taiwan has all kinds of gambling problems, which most likely hurt the prospects of Fantasy CPBL. I keep an eye out for CPBL news, but haven't come across anything related to Fantasy Baseball down there.

This is a site about Pro Yakyu (Japanese Baseball), not about who the next player to go over to MLB is. It's a community of Pro Yakyu fans who have come together to share their knowledge and opinions with the world. It's a place to follow teams and individuals playing baseball in Japan (and Asia), and to learn about Japanese (and Asian) culture through baseball.

It is my sincere hope that once you learn a bit about what we're about here that you will join the community of contributors.
