Tokyo Gas pitcher received cash gifts in Seibu Lions scouting
The baseball team managed by Tokyo Gas Co. admitted Saturday one
of its players had received 2.7 million yen ($22,812) from the Seibu
Lions, a professional team that said Friday its scouting staff
inappropriately paid money to two amateurs.
