Ken Kadokura's first pro start likely left a lasting impression on the Yomiuri Giants.

On Aug. 3, 1996, the right-hander put on a gutsy performance against Yomiuri at Nagoya Stadium, striking out a pair of batters in the ninth inning to put the finishing touches on a five-hit shutout for a memorable first win.
