Yokohama admits to scouting scandal (Updated)
The Yokohama BayStars became the latest professional club to
become embroiled in a scandal over scouting amateur baseball players
when it admitted Wednesday it paid pitcher Takumi Nasuno a 530
million yen signing bonus, well in excess of the maximum amount
allowed of 100 million yen.
