Lefty Toshiya Sugiuchi pitched eight effective innings and
Nobuhiko Matsunaka hit a three-run homer as the Softbank Hawks edged
the Rakuten Eagles 3-2 to extend their winning streak to nine games
in the Pacific League on Tuesday.
