Sasaoka delivers last pitch
Hiroshima right-hander Shinji Sasaoka tossed his final inning with the Carp on Saturday, going out with a bang at Hiroshima Stadium on Saturday.

The Carp smothered the Yokohama BayStars 10-1, and the 40-year-old Sasaoka, retiring after 18 seasons, came on with two outs in the top of the ninth inning. He served up Shuichi Murata's 36th homer--the most in the Central League--before recording a strikeout to end the game.
