Dragons light up Giants, Utsumi
The Chunichi Dragons burned the first-place Yomiuri Giants on the field after setting a bit of backfire before Thursday night's game.

Chunichi skipper Hiromitsu Ochiai sent southpaw Takashi Ogasawara to the mound to start Game 1 of the second stage of the Central League's Climax Series, throwing off the home team, which expected right-hander Daisuke Yamai.
