What were some of the tougher aspects of being an Iowa native playing baseball in Japan?

Trying to figure out the train system. I had to ride a train every day from where I lived to the ballpark, an hour one way, so I had to take three different trains. There were some times that I would just take a walk for blocks and blocks because I couldn't figure out the trains. Once I figured out my route, I didn't deviate.
