中日タイロン・ウッズ内野手（３７）がオープン戦３号とまさかの盗塁でファンを喜ばせた。４回に工藤から左翼席にソロ本塁打をたたき込み、６回には右前打で出塁後、李の打席で相手の意表を突く二盗に成功。不動の４番は「まだパーフェクトじゃないが、状態はよくなっているよ」と自信満々だった。
