中日は横浜に逆転負けし、連勝は「３」で止まった。初回にウッズ、森野の適時打などで３点先制したが、３回に先発・佐藤亮が崩れ５失点。６回にも３点を失い、突き放された。その裏、福留の２号ソロなどで２点返したが、及ばなかった。落合完投はＫＯ降板した佐藤亮について「結果を出さないと下に落とされるというのがあるから、緊張感はあった」とかばった。
