ヤクルトのラミレスが、来日７年目で通算１０００本安打を達成した。３回に中日吉見から左前打を放ち、外国人としては球団初の偉業を達成した。「すごい数字だと思うし、大変なこと。来日した時は１年契約だっだし、ここまでプレーできるとは思ってなかった」と話した。プロ野球２４４人目。
