ダルビッシュで決めた！ パ・リーグのクライマックスシリーズ（ＣＳ）第２ステージ第５戦で日本ハムが６－２でロッテを下し、球団初の２年連続日本シリーズ進出を果たした。今季初の中４日で先発したダルビッシュ有投手（２１）が、７回途中５安打１失点と好投。大一番で今季パ相手に不敗だったロッテ成瀬とのエース対決に投げ勝ち、第２ステージＭＶＰを獲得した。２７日からは巨人、中日の勝者との日本シリーズ。９２年の西武以来となる連続日本一を目指す。
