星野ジャパンがつないで、つないで「単打の山」で９－０快勝発進した。北京五輪アジア予選（１２月１～３日、台湾）日本代表最終候補が６日、スカイマークで社会人・近畿選抜と練習試合を行った。打線は１６安打中、１４本が単打。８回には７本の単打を集中して７得点を挙げた。星野仙一監督（６０）が自主トレ初日から繰り返してきた攻撃の理想型が、垣間見えた。
