ヤクルト大学・社会人ドラフト１巡目の加藤幹典投手（２２＝慶大）が２８日、開幕ローテーション入り手中にした。この日、練習試合ＬＧ（韓国）戦に２番手として登板し、３イニングを被安打１、３奪三振の無失点。２１日の初登板は１４０キロだった最速が、１４６キロまでアップした。前回は制球を乱す場面が目立ったが「徐々に狙ったところへ行くようになっている」と、順調さもアピールした。
