浜ちゃん冷やり！ オリックス浜中治外野手（２９）が左わき腹打撲で途中交代した。４回無死二塁の右翼守備で、右中間に上がった桜井の打球を追って中堅の平下と交錯（記録は先制適時三塁打）。左わき腹を強打し、苦悶の表情を浮かべてその場にうずくまった。動かない浜中に倉敷の虎ファンも右肩に続く大ケガか、と固唾を飲んだ。コリンズ監督らも血相を変えて駆け寄り、何とか歩いてベンチに戻る際も左わき腹を押さえたままだった。
