Heroes release veteran Chung; 13 remain unsigned
Chung Min-tae, the right-handed pitcher who led the Hyundai Unicorns to four Korean Series titles, was released by the Woori Heroes yesterday. The Heroes recently succeeded the Unicorns franchise as the eighth club in the Korea Baseball Organization.

With all the KBO problems, possible contraction issues, and now the Woori debacle, looks as if the KBO is edging ever so closer to the CPBL than the NPB.

It certainly looks that way, but the CPBL still has the edge when it comes to statistics. If the KBO can put decent stats on their website I'll forgive them.
