This is a site about Pro Yakyu (Japanese Baseball), not about who the next player to go over to MLB is. It's a community of Pro Yakyu fans who have come together to share their knowledge and opinions with the world. It's a place to follow teams and individuals playing baseball in Japan (and Asia), and to learn about Japanese (and Asian) culture through baseball.
It is my sincere hope that once you learn a bit about what we're about here that you will join the community of contributors.

Gary Rath gave up six hits and three runs in 7 1/3 innings to get the victory in Taegu on Wednesday. Kim Han-soo drove in all of the Lions' runs on a three-run homer off of Rath in the eighth inning. Koo Ja-woon earned the save with his 146 kph (92 mph) pitches.
The third-place Doosan Bears advanced to the second round of the playoffs by taking the first two games of the best two-of-three first round over the fourth-place Kia Tigers. The winner of the second round pitting the second-place Samsung Lions versus Doosan Bears plays the first-place Hyundai Unicorns starting October 21st.
