Angered by another draw after Game 2, disappointed fans posted hundreds of protests on the Korea Baseball Organization's web site. The KBO's rules state a game can't exceed four hours of playing time or 12 innings.

Anyways, the Series is tied at 1-1. The next 3 games will be played at the neutral site of Seoul's Jamshil stadium.

The Unicorns struck first on Cliff Brumbaugh's fourth inning solo home run into centerfield.
Hyundai played small ball for the next three runs. Shim Chong-soo was hit by a pitch to lead off the fifth inning. A fielding error by Samsung shortstop Cho Dong-chan allowed Park Jin-man to reach first on an attempted sacrifice bunt. Jeon Keun-pyo bunted to move the runners to second and third. Then, Kim Dong-soo singled between short and third to drive in Shim. Park scored on a single by Chae Jong-kook. Still in the fifth, a sacrifice line drive by Jeon Joon-ho allowed Kim to come home.
The Unicorns' starting pitcher, Mike Fyrie, gave up two solo home runs in the sixth inning to Yang Joon-hyuk and Mendy Lopez for the Lions' only scores.
Shim drove in the final two runs with a single in the eigth inning. Cho Yong-joon closed the game with 1 2/3 scoreless innings.
