Profile: Akira Ohgi
Ohgi managed the Orix Buffaloes in the their first year after the Orix-Kintestu merger. He was hired due to the fact he managed both the Orix BlueWave and Kintestu Buffaloes. He led the Buffaloes to a 4th place finish in 2005 in the Pacific League.

Ohgi is now a senior advisor in the Orix Buffaloes organization.

It's a community of Pro Yakyu fans who have come together to share their knowledge and opinions with the world. It's a place to follow teams and individuals playing baseball in Japan (and Asia), and to learn about Japanese (and Asian) culture through baseball.
