This is a site about Pro Yakyu (Japanese Baseball), not about who the next player to go over to MLB is. It's a community of Pro Yakyu fans who have come together to share their knowledge and opinions with the world. It's a place to follow teams and individuals playing baseball in Japan (and Asia), and to learn about Japanese (and Asian) culture through baseball.
It is my sincere hope that once you learn a bit about what we're about here that you will join the community of contributors.

Whether you deem Ichiro's comments racist or not, I seriously want posters on this site to carefully consider choosing their words on this issue. I personally could not think of anything worse than being branded a racist, so we should never assume that they are.
Westbaystars-san I would very much appreciate it if you would post this message as I think this needs to be said to preserve a harmonious forum. Maybe something like a sticky is in order, both discouraging racist posts and casting vague assumptions regarding racism in them game.
