Old Articles Restored
It's said that something gets lost in the translation. Well, than can be applied to data as well. I've fully restored the data from the old Slash site to the new data format used by Jive, but several of the pages don't look all that good.

The HTML rendering of tags in the old system doesn't exactly match this system, so I'll have to fine tune many of the articles (or have you all suffer through them). My current list of things to do (in no particular order) is:

  • repair HTML in imported articles
  • fix links in imported articles
  • fix order for those messages that got out of order (had polls with them)
  • change look
  • match message writers' old (moto-) names to users who have reestablished their logins

This is a site about Pro Yakyu (Japanese Baseball), not about who the next player to go over to MLB is. It's a community of Pro Yakyu fans who have come together to share their knowledge and opinions with the world. It's a place to follow teams and individuals playing baseball in Japan (and Asia), and to learn about Japanese (and Asian) culture through baseball.
