New Look and Feel

New Look and Feel
As you can plainly see, I've been busy these past couple of weeks designinging a new look and feel for the site. Well, the main graphics were outsourced for the most part with some work by me (actually, the Gimp) on things like the menu buttons.

I've been experimenting with this at home until everything that I use works. However, I'm sure that I hadn't tested all possibilities, so if you come across something that isn't working correctly, post a report here or send it to me.

The functionality will slowly evolve over the coming weeks. What that means is that I'll be writing less articles and more code. But it looks like many topics have taken off without me, lately, so I doubt if you'll miss my writing much at all.

Well, time for me to get to work on implementing some of the functionality where these new place holders stand.

This is a site about Pro Yakyu (Japanese Baseball), not about who the next player to go over to MLB is. It's a community of Pro Yakyu fans who have come together to share their knowledge and opinions with the world. It's a place to follow teams and individuals playing baseball in Japan (and Asia), and to learn about Japanese (and Asian) culture through baseball.

It is my sincere hope that once you learn a bit about what we're about here that you will join the community of contributors.
