Ozzie Guillen: Iguchi is MVP

Discussion in the Nichi-Bei forum
Ozzie Guillen: Iguchi is MVP
He's playing a less glamorous role with the White Sox than he did with the Hawks, but Iguchi and his team are thriving nonetheless. I'm still surprised that Guillen would make the comment that Iguchi is his MVP, considering that he has two potential Cy Young winners on the staff.

Well considering the way Iguchi has played I'm not susprised. Iguchi also fits in with the player the White Sox team is. Iguchi has adjusted perfectly so far. He's batting .285 with 8 HR's and 42 RBI's, 93 hits, 172 bases (4 triples), and 13 stolen bases. Iguchi has shown outstanding fielding and range, he has shown great leadership and great knowledge on the basepaths. [MLB Stats]
