A's Not to Retain Yabu
The A's announced that they won't retain pitcher Keiichi Yabu, Monday. Yabu went 4-0 with 1 SV and had a 4.50 ERA in 40 games with the A's. [Full Story - Japan Ball]

Anybody hear any information on Yabu lately? Will he resign with a MLB club, return to Japan, retire possibly? Thank you.

Right now he will not re-sign with Oakland, and it's very unlikely that a MLB club will sign Yabu. So a return to a NPB club seems most likely. It surprise me that no NPB team has signed Yabu yet.
