AAA Japanese Throws No-Hitter

AAA Japanese Throws No-Hitter
Tetsu Yofu, who is viewed as a hero to many Taiwanese fans (as least to Brother Elephants fans) because of his time there pitched a no-hitter with the Charlotte Knights yesterday against the Durham Bulls. The Bulls have won the last two International League championship, and Yofu's no-hitter snapped Durham's 11 game winning streak which tied it's club record.

Yofu was signed last year by the White Sox and has spend this and the past season with Birmingham and Charlotte while hoping for a chance to pitch in Chicago.

About

This is a site about Pro Yakyu (Japanese Baseball), not about who the next player to go over to MLB is. It's a community of Pro Yakyu fans who have come together to share their knowledge and opinions with the world. It's a place to follow teams and individuals playing baseball in Japan (and Asia), and to learn about Japanese (and Asian) culture through baseball.

It is my sincere hope that once you learn a bit about what we're about here that you will join the community of contributors.
