Delvis Pachedo Signs With Cobras
The Makoto Cobras have signed 27 year old pitcher Delvis Pachedo. Last season, with the independent Camden Riversharks, Pachedo was 10-7 with a 3.67 ERA in 23 games (22 starts, 147.0 IP). The right hander walked 47 but has no power as he struck out 59.

I work for the Somerset Patriots of the Atlantic League, who are in the same division as the Camden Riversharks. I saw Delvis pitch a couple of times last year, and he is definitely a control pitcher who will induce a lot of ground balls. He's got decent stuff, although I'm glad to say that we beat him in the playoffs last year.
