This is a site about Pro Yakyu (Japanese Baseball), not about who the next player to go over to MLB is. It's a community of Pro Yakyu fans who have come together to share their knowledge and opinions with the world. It's a place to follow teams and individuals playing baseball in Japan (and Asia), and to learn about Japanese (and Asian) culture through baseball.
It is my sincere hope that once you learn a bit about what we're about here that you will join the community of contributors.

The 27 year old Wright spent 2003 in the Seattle Mariners' organization with Triple-A Tacoma and Double-A San Antonio. With the Tacoma Rainers, he was 0-6 with a 6.36 ERA in 9 games (9 GS, 46.2 IP). Meanwhile, with the San Antonio Missions, Wright went 7-6 with a 3.76 ERA in 20 GP (16 GS, 95.2 IP).
Iriki was 4-6-0 with a 3.39 ERA in 11 games (11 GS, 77.0 IP). Wright joins Claudio Galva (2.57 ERA, 6 SVs in 16 GP) and Corey Bailey (7-8-0 with a 2.49 ERA in 19 GP, 17 GS) as the three foreigners on the Bears. Robert Marquez was released even though he had a 2-4-0 record and a 2.87 ERA in 12 GP, 5 GS.
