Lions sign P Ricky Stone
The President Lions have signed 33 year old right handed pitcher Ricky Stone. In 2007 Stone was 5-6 with 16 saves and a 1.87 ERA in 59 games for the Louisville Bats (Triple-A International League). He also pitched in 5 games for the Cincinnati Reds, posting a 10.13 ERA.

On December 13, 2007, Stone was included in the detailed Mitchell Report by Senator George Mitchell in which he was alleged to have used steroids throughout his career.
