3B Jose Leon Returns to Taiwan
The dmedia T-Rex have signed 3B Jose Leon. The 31 year old batted .279 with 5 HRs and 15 RBIs in 28 games with Guerreros de Oaxaca and Tigres de Quintana Roo (Triple-A Mexican League) this season.

León was once a highly regarded power-hitting prospect but failed to live up to his potential. He played for the World Team at the 2000 All-Star Futures Game.

In 2007 Leon played with the then Makoto Cobras, batting .346 with 3 HRs and 11 RBIs in 14 games. However, an argument with one of the coaches led to his release.

In order to make room for Leon, the T-Rex released P Willy Lebron (0-5, 9.25 ERA in 11 games).
About

This is a site about Pro Yakyu (Japanese Baseball), not about who the next player to go over to MLB is. It's a community of Pro Yakyu fans who have come together to share their knowledge and opinions with the world. It's a place to follow teams and individuals playing baseball in Japan (and Asia), and to learn about Japanese (and Asian) culture through baseball.

It is my sincere hope that once you learn a bit about what we're about here that you will join the community of contributors.
