In other transactions the La New Bears will rely heavily on foreign starters as they have brought back 32 year old righty Aaron Rakers (13-6 with a 3.54 ERA in 26 games in 2009). The team also signed 28 year old southpaw Zachary Parker who went 4-6 with a 4.05 ERA in 25 games in the independent leagues with the Lancaster Barnstormers.
