P Mike Loree back with Monkeys
28 year old right handed pitcher Mike Loree has decided to return to the Lamigo Monkeys.

In 2012 he went 6-1 with a 2.50 ERA in 8 games after arriving in the middle of the season. Fans remember him most for his complete game shutout of the Samsung Lions in the 2012 Asia Series where he struck out 11 batters.

Loree, who got married last year, says the two things he missed most about Taiwan were the food and night markets.
About

This is a site about Pro Yakyu (Japanese Baseball), not about who the next player to go over to MLB is. It's a community of Pro Yakyu fans who have come together to share their knowledge and opinions with the world. It's a place to follow teams and individuals playing baseball in Japan (and Asia), and to learn about Japanese (and Asian) culture through baseball.

It is my sincere hope that once you learn a bit about what we're about here that you will join the community of contributors.
