Maeda Hires Agent
Free agent pitcher Yukinaga Maeda has hired the Octagon Sports Agency to represent him. Octagon has represented Shigetoshi Hasegawa, Shingo Takatsu, and Kazuhisa Ishii in the past.

Maeda went 0-1 with a 5.06 ERA in 15 games with the Yomiuri Giants last year. Like Kuwata, he's struggled the last 3 years. I can't see how Maeda gets any more than a minor league contract with an invitation to spring training.
