Who is Coming Across the Pond in '09?

Who is Coming Across the Pond in '09?
It seems the pitchers keep coming and coming, while the success of position players may have been greater. Perhaps they feel they are too old to break in/adjust? It hasn't stopped them from doing a really good job as a group. Better than the pitchers it could be argued.

KK is coming and that's it for certain as I understand now.

Uehara is hedging now. He announced his intentions before the season started, then had his obvious troubles. Now that he's in good form again, he's made the smart move of not talking about it until after the Series. Meanwhile, I imagine his stock has plummeted. Still, he would go as a FA, meaning teams can take a chance because they avoid the ridiculous posting fee.

This is a site about Pro Yakyu (Japanese Baseball), not about who the next player to go over to MLB is. It's a community of Pro Yakyu fans who have come together to share their knowledge and opinions with the world. It's a place to follow teams and individuals playing baseball in Japan (and Asia), and to learn about Japanese (and Asian) culture through baseball.
