Hu Chin-lung called up by Dodgers
23 year old shortstop Hu Chin-lung [MLB.com] has been called up by the Los Angeles Dodgers.

At Double-A Jacksonville Hu hit .329 with 6 HRs and 34 RBIs in 82 games. After being named the MVP at the Futures Game he was promoted to Triple-A Las Vegas where he hit .337 with 8 HRs and 28 RBIs in 45 games.

The Tainan native has improved his hitting considerably. In 2006 he hit only .256 with 5 HRs and 37 RBIs in 125 games at Jacksonville.
