Taiwanese baseball film 'Kano' hoped to improve ties with Japan

I'm excited about this. I just read about Kano in Andrew Morris's Colonial Project, National Game.

The anti-Japanese Nationalist Government has always portrayed the Maple Leaf Little League team as what ignited Taiwanese baseball. The history goes back even earlier.
