Padres Owner Expresses Interest in Playing Games in China
Padres' owner John Moores said at the WBC Conference, Thursday that he would like to have the Padres open the season up in China. Moores said, "I'd love to play baseball over in China. There are 1.3 billion reasons why baseball should be there." [Full Story - MLB.com]

I hope this might actually inspire some more people to be interested in baseball over there. I heard that the average attendance to a game in the CBL is about 80 people.
