CPBL Playoffs?
Have the CPBL Playoffs began yet, and who are the teams playing?

The final day of the Chinese Professional Baseball League regular second half is October 13th. There are two 50 game halves, but standings will be determined by the total combined winning percentage. The third and second place teams play a best of five game series. The winner of the playoff takes on the first place team the a best of seven game CPBL series.
I hope this information is correct because the mangled English in the Taipei Times is difficult to understand and I can't read Mandarin Chinese. I will keep you posted on the CPBL playoffs.

As for the 2005 CPBL "Ford" Playoff Series, here's the schedule:
Game 1 (Oct. 21): President Lions at Makoto Cobras (Tian Mu Stadium)
Game 2 (Oct. 22): Lions at Cobras (Tian Mu)
Game 3 (Oct. 23): Lions at Cobras (Tian Mu)
Game 4 (Oct. 25): Cobras at Lions (Tainan Stadium)*
Game 5 (Oct. 26): Cobras at Lions (Tainan) *
* If necessary.
As for the Taiwan Series, the playoff winner will face the Sinon Bulls with the first two games at Touliu (which seats 15,000), Game 3 at Taichung and Games 4 through 7 at either Kaoshiung or Tainan.

Just to let you know, Lin Ying Jie pitched the whole game and struck out a total of 14.
