Rudy Pemberton, now there's a name from the past, the far, far past.
As for Jose Paniagua, I didn't expect him to last long. Then again, very few foreign players seem to last in Taiwan either. Though, as with Paniagua, it's most likely he pitched himself out of a job.

This is a site about Pro Yakyu (Japanese Baseball), not about who the next player to go over to MLB is. It's a community of Pro Yakyu fans who have come together to share their knowledge and opinions with the world. The Cobras also inked 37 year old right fielder Rudy Pemberton. He had a cup of coffee in the Major Leagues and in Japan in 1997 with the Seibu Lions. Pemberton has not been in a Major League organization since 1999.
So much for Jose Paniagua.
